Rob Muller has been tinkering with computers since he received a TI-99/4A at 10 years old, and typed his first line of BASIC. PICO-8 is a return to his roots, when computers were simple to use but hard to master, graphics were pixelated but still ignited the imagination, and all music was chip-tune by default, not by choice. And that’s how we liked it!

Aside from creating small, easy-to-play arcade games that add modern twists to classic formulas, he runs Pico Playtime, a Youtube channel that showcases and reviews new Pico-8 games each week. When he finds time to step away from all things Pico-8 you can find him teaching computer science.
