VR Trend Magazine Introduces Arcade Legend
There is a popular saying about life being a great teacher, but unlike school, life gives you the test first and the lesson afterwards.
And there may not have been a more difficult test for the Out-of-Home Entertainment Industry than the COVID-19 pandemic. Some traditional arcade game manufacturers didn’t make it out of the pandemic alive, but there were also some that found innovative ways to leverage COVID into new opportunities. One of those companies was LAI Games, a company who has been making real-world arcade games for over 60 years, and in 2020 they started on their first in-home consumer VR game built around their core competency: building great arcade games and experiences.
LAI Games plans to work with other arcade industry manufacturers to bring more officially licensed games to Arcade Legend, and they’ve already secured a deal with another prominent manufacturer to bring one of the most iconic arcade titles to the game in the next few months.
